Exercise 1
Shutter 1/40.   Aperture F/13.   ISO 800

Don't Move
I took countless of shots standing in the same position. I chose this one because I feel satisfaction with the balance and the vertical and horizontal lines. This image gives me a sense of home and comfort.

Uniqeness
There is nothing crazy about this image. I just love the simplicity of it. The light was dull in this room so I set a high ISO to bring out the beautiful whites in it.




Exercise 3

4 corners
I took many shots of this shoe, positioning it in different corners of the frame. This one probably came out the most balanced out of all of them. I think the background is balanced well in this shot. I like how the colours in the back are simple and then the shoe has a lot of abstract detail to it.

Scenery
This is the front door of my house. I think it is beautiful. I had to adjust the ISO and Aperture many times because the white part of the house was giving a bright affect which I thought didn't look nice.

Restriction: Only things below you
I took shots of the first thing I saw, which were my feet. The blurry white thing covering the bottom of the shot is part of the jumper I was wearing. My intention was to show perspective from what my eyes could see in that position.

Recreate

This is the image I took to recreate the bottom picture. There are some obvious differences. The over all tone and colour between both images, the bottom picture is more warmer. The leaves are more flat in the bottom image. My image is tilted, the bottom image is straight. The level of depth of field is almost similar. This shot was tricky to take as I had to be in a certain position to get the angles.

  Exposure Control    Student Name: Euphemia  Agbaw -Ebai   Student Number: B00125770   Image 1                        Shutter 1/1600. Aperture F/14. ISO 6400. 34mm.   This is the picture I chose for differential focus. It is the end of a sulking branch of a tree. My aim was to focus the leaves closest to me and blur the background. In other words have a low depth of field. I think this picture came out really good. The focused part of the plant came out clear. It was isolated in its space and surrounding which probably made it easier to come out with a blur in the background. I had multiple attempts . I had switched to the aperture priority mode on the camera to see what camera the setting would give me for the shutter speed. I then found it easier adjusting the settings in manual mode. I had to lay down on the ground to get this angle. I was trying to get an angle that makes the lines on the floor look like they are leading out to somewhere which I think I achieved in this shot. I could notice how the leaves of the tree were all pointing downwards and formed lines.  Image 3 F/5.6. 1/25s. ISO 400. 25mm. Photographic Style Reflection

This week I learn about how to define your own style in photography and here are some points I gathered: ◙    Style is always developing. Style can always change with new experiences and new inspirations. Sometimes a current style can become outdated for us which may fuel us to start developing into different styles and ideas. This is perfectly okay. ◙    Listen to what doesn't work. Being honest with who you are is vital in developing one's style. When we are shooting it is important to pay attention to our personality. Our photography shows our personality. What did you like? What don't you like? Is there something that you feel uncomfortable about? Reflect on these things. ◙    Look at other artist's work. It is good to look at other sources for inspiration. There might be something about another artist work and reasoning that you resonate with and could spark a really good idea. Always look for  inspiration. ◙    Take your own journey. Don't rob yourself try
